Confirm your electric vehicle is ready by contacting Crown Lexus, an Elite of Lexus Award winner. During the Extended Test Drive, dedicated Lexus team members will walk you through electric and charging applications. We'll make sure the:
- Battery is fully charged
- Charging cable is present
- Two charging adapters are present

Charging Basics for First-Time EV Buyers
- Level 1 Charging - Supplies 120 volts of AC current; takes 50 hours for a full charge; dual-voltage charging cable can be plugged into an ordinary 120-volt household outlet
- Level 2 Charging - Supplies double the voltage 240 volts of AC current; approximately seven hours to reach a full charge; dual-voltage charging cable works with a wall charger or 240-volt outlet installation for at-home use; Level 2 chargers also accessible at public charging stations throughout greater Los Angeles
- Level 3 Charging - DC fast charging (not allowed during the Extended Test Drive period with your Lexus BEV); supplies DC current between 400 and 800 volts; cuts charging time to 30 minutes or less; Level 3 DC fast chargers exclusively available at public charging stations
Lexus EV owners can conveniently charge their electric vehicle on the public charging networks, including IONNA, ChargePoint, EVgo, and the Tesla Supercharging Network.
